Vehicle Detail
This car was purchased 7 years ago and kept garaged but not driven more than a couple times. It was previously stored for 15 years in a Kansas barn before I bought it. This is a good car for a restoration project. It starts and runs but is not a daily driver. The only work I did to the car was a tuneup- I rebuilt the 2 barrel carburetor and changed spark plugs/wires and filters. This car is pretty straight and has good chrome and bumpers. It has some rust areas as shown in the pictures but is very restorable. The car has iconic Cragar rims and hub caps. They should be re-chromed but still look great on this body style. I'm graduating college in May and don't have the time or money to complete a restoration. This is the Special Edition (SE) which had a some added features on the interior and a shorter back side window. That is factory bondo in the groove behind the window that was originally covered with a black vinyl top. The hood has an SE emblem on it as well. This car had a factory power coating on the frame and around the wheel wells. A lot of that has stayed on over the years protecting the structure of this car. I talked to the original owner and the car was repainted the factory green color when the car was about 10 years old. I do not believe it has had other body or paint work. The car has power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, slap stick shifter, 150 mph speedometer and probably more I forgot to mention.
