You are looking at a 1979 Ford Pinto with 44,086 actual miles on it the day of posting (currently is a daily driver). It is a 2.3L straight 4 with a 3 speed automatic transmission. The transmission leaks, but is constantly checked and kept full. It does not have any shifting or driving issues. Other than that it runs and drives great. Recent oil change, along with new cap and rotor and new wires and plugs. Also a new starter. Factory sunroof. The body is straight for the most part. Dents and dings are minimal. There is a small dent in the rear driver's side quarter panel with a small hole. There is minor surface rust on the front driver's side quarter panel, other than that, the paint is fair but chipped and scratched from natural wear. There is no body rust. The passenger side tail light is cracked. Has all original chrome. It is missing the cowling on the front end of the car. It needs a muffler. The windshield is cracked, but all other glass is good. The interior is clean and fair but has natural wear and tear. The carpet is stained in places and there are some places where the carpet is worn through, so there are a couple holes in the carpet. It is very easy to replace. No cuts or holes in the seats. The interior plastic is scratched in places. The dash has a few cracks. The upper covering for the driver's seat belt is broken but have the covering. The rear defrost does not work, it is not hooked up. Aside from the rear defroster, all the gauges, lights and signals work. Have a complete set of tires (including a spare) and a separate set of mounted studded snow tires. Almost completely original car. I have the original customer some information/documentation with matching Vin numbers. Also have the original customer identification card, and original starting and seat belt instructions. I have done my best to give you an accurate description of the car, sold as is.
