Vehicle Detail

1999 Honda Accord Sedan 192,353 miles. Car must be towed to have engine work done on it. Good Condition inside and out; Repainted July 2013. A few minor dings on drivers side door and one small dent on the rear passenger side door. Dark Emerald Green. Ivory cloth interior. Power locks and windows. 4-cylinder, 16-valve VTEC Engine. AM/FM/CD stereo. Anti-Theft System with keyless entry, two keys, wheel lock. I ‘m selling it because I purchased another newer Honda two weeks. I am the second owner – first owner was my brother. The car overheated on Sunday, April 13th and I had the heater and radiator hoses replaced along with the thermostat. The garage here in my area then informed me that I needed the head gasket set replaced along with the O2 sensor. I decided not to do the work. I have spent more than $6,315 on this car since January 2012. It’s a great car, but right now it is inoperable. It must be towed. It runs fine when it is first started cold, but as it warms up it will sputter and stall. Below are all the major repairs I have paid for to keep the car in tip-top shape. I had the entire car repainted last summer 2013 in the original dark green color. I also replaced the side view mirrors and had them painted as well. The car is in good condition. Once the head gasket is taken care of, you will be able to cruise on your way. I have religiously changed the oil every 3,000 miles at one of two places. I have tires rotated & balanced at the recommended 8,000 miles at Costco. 6-7/32 of an inch remains on the Michelin All Season MXV HR tires. They are in great shape. Honda Accord Repairs since January 2012 4/8/2014 Replaced heater and radiator hoses; thermostat $475.00 Garage: “Head Gasket is Leaking – Once car is warm, car sputters and stalls” - car can be driven cold, but as soon as it warms up it sputters and will stall out. I recommend towing it away. 11/25/2013 State Inspection - Passed 10/25/2013 Replaced Catalytic Converter & gaskets $1,451.12 09/30/2013 Emissions - Passed 09/14/2013 Replaced oil pan gasket $400.95 07/15/2013 Maaco: Car repainted original color of dark green and both side mirrors replaced & repainted $592.86 12/28/2012 Front Struts replaced; sway bar bushings and links $748.49 06/22/2012 Upper Control Arm replaced $200.74 06/05/2012 Valve cover gasket replaced; engine mount replaced $281.61 05/24/2012 Replace radiator $436.79 05/04/2012 Replaced Ignition Switch $345.49 04/23/2012 Replaced Distributor Assembly $693.72 01/31/2012 Upper Control Arm replaced; lower ball joint replaced; New battery, plugs, cable end $687.71 01/17/2012 4 Michelin MXV-4 195/65HR15 All Season tires from Costco $530.00 Total in Upgrades & Repairs since January 2012: $6845.00 I have the receipts for all repairs since 2012.
