Up for sale is a classic 220d w115 manual transmission Diesel Mercedes.. this is a original car from California and its rust free.. this is a well kept car that was carefully driven and always garaged, its a classic but reliable enough to drive cross country.. if your looking for a classic diesel benz thats ready to drive and has lots of character , then this might be a good candidate.. turns heads every time your driving.. over 150HD pictures uploaded on this same page.. please scroll down to view.. the exterior looks very nice and shiny , might find couple minor dings if you look very closely, otherwise very nice and original..left side mirror is missing, all windows are in good shape, all chrome and moldings are in perfect shape, all lights work in order, tires are brand new, the underbelly is very clean, has no rust or damages.. overall very presentable .... the interior is also very clean... carpets and seats show very minor wear for its age, headliner is perfect, door panels are perfect, front 2 windows are converted to factory power.. so manual regulators were replaced with electric and work perfectly fine, the rear windows are still manual .. dash is in perfect shape with exception of one crack.. all gauges work fine, horn works, becker audio still works, very clean interior that's very original.. non smoker car... has tinted windows which can easily be taken off, its not permanent , its windows film.. the odometer stopped working and i cannot verify the miles since its a 1972.. i dont have records.. im sorry... it had one owner since new, the old man passed away and the son donated the car to the national charity.. i bought it from charity a year ago.. and barely use it.. thats the history behind it.. no more , no less. :) i dont think this car has alotta miles because it shows very little wear and tear for its age.. if you know cars then you know what this car is.. Mechanically the car is very sound.. always starts and runs great... sounds great , does not smoke or leak.. motor has good power and its very healthy.. no shakes or vibrations... the 4 speed manual transmission shifts fine through all gears and does not grind or leak.. the clutch is in good shape.. drives very nice and smooth on the freeway.. has new brakes all around.. has new steering tie rods, new suspension ball joints, new front brake lines, new steering coupling, steering idler arm, steering drag link. both rear sway bar links. and more.. the ac compressor is not working, but the ac system is all complete and intact.. if you ever need to use ac, you will need a new compressor , its about $200 for a rebuilt compressor.. so overall its in good shape... super reliable classic that has character , reliability and does 32MPG all day long.. car is also advertised locally and i have the right to end auction at anytime.. if you have any questions please feel free to email , or call directly at 818-731-1709... i have clear title under my name with current registration.. i can assist you with shipping if you like.. just ask.... its not everyday you find a clean short bumper w115 220 diesel with manual transmission in this shape.. thanks for looking and good luck bidding!!!!... terms of sale... winning bidder to please pay 20% deposit within 24hrs of close .. and balance to be paid within 5 days..
