We acquired this car as part of a larger purchase of British car parts and thought we'd offer it in the as found condition for someone restoring a similar car. This car is sold as a parts car with a bill of sale and does not have title. It is the remains of a long abandoned project, stored in a dry barn, a 1960 TR-3A that appears to be a fairly solid, numbers matching car. The commission number, TS 73850 L, Chassis, EB 72251 and the engine TS 73913 seem to be within typical numerical range, although not verified, to be original to the car, all commissioning/chassis plates are present. Transmission, rear, forward and rear suspension complete. The Seller had said that the engine was rebuilt at while undergoing the abandoned restoration, appears surprisingly clean, but not warranted as such. The intake and carb's are missing. The car had been sitting on blocks for almost 20 years, inside a dry barn but has typically rust damage of a neglected car in the floor pans and trunk. The rockers appear solid, as does inner fenders and firewall but typical battery tray rust. The frame, while showing surface rust, appears solid with no holes or obvious damage. The car's suspension is intact and sits on a set of 48 spoke wire wheels that appear to be in a very reasonable condition, complete with spinners and mounting splines. The dash is partially complete, as shown in the pictures. The rear axle is frozen but it appears to be that the parking brake has been engaged for the twenty years or so it sat in the barn, so it is locked up. We can load this car onto your trailer for free or deliver within 200 miles of Downingtown Pa. (19335) for a fee. Only includes what you see.
