Up for auction is a 2005 VW jetta. 5 speed manual 2.0 engine i have had this car for 4 years. was my everyday driver. i bought a new truck so don't want to put the time and money into this vehicle. the epc light started to come on intermittently. i found and replaced a bad vacuum line connected to the throttle body.. now it won't start. when i do try to start it the starter makes a grinding sound. i think the starter is bad, could just be that or one of a dozen censors. if your good with volkswagens this might be a good buy for you. could be an easy fix. no codes, no check engine light. the interior panels were removed to pull aftermarket speakers, and will need to be re-attached. the interior is in fair to good condition, there are a couple tears in the headliner, and is very dirty and needs a good cleaning. the tires are less than a year old, Dunlop brand. alternator and battery are a year and a half old. 8 month old rear springs. year old rear brake pads. fronts were done when i bought the car 4 years ago. any other questions just ask.On Apr-21-14 at 05:42:58 PDT, seller added the following information: I would consider trading this vehicle for a nice running 4 wheeler, please contact me if interested in trading.On Apr-22-14 at 19:56:29 PDT, seller added the following information: also it does have a brand new windshield. and the factory deck will be left wired in the trunk, so an aftermarket deck can be hooked up without disabling the alarm.
