This bike is a perfect blend of sport & touring. I have owned BMW1200LT and BMW1200GT and both are great bikes, but the LT is too heavy and soft, and the GT is too aggressive for touring. The 1100 RT is light and nimble and comfortable. I don't miss the electric kick stand or 4 speaker stereo of the LT, helmet cords were a hassle. I don't feel like I gave up much performance compared to the GT. I guess on a race track it would matter a lot, but I'd never take either bike on a track. This RT is in very good condition and has less than 31,000 miles on it. The mechanicals are fine and for it's age it looks great. tires and brakes are very good. There are a few scratches here and there, check out the photos, and anyone local is welcome to check out the bike in person. There are a couple things that are broken/do not work, but do not impact the use of this motorcycle. I do not have the ride side bag( a brand new one from dealer is $363 retail). I have the left side but don't use it, the top case provides more than enough storage.The right side cover is cracked but works fine ( a brand new one from dealer is $82 retail). The Fuel Gauge doesn't always work, the dash unit is fine, oil temp works, but probably the sending unit in the tank, never bothered to fix, bike get 150+ Miles between fill-ups. The onboard am/fm/cassette radio with handlebar controls does not work. I didn't mess with it, as I wear a bluetooth helmet for audio.
