This 1969 Firebird has been in my posession since 1986. It has 192,000 miles and runs strong. The engine has never been completely rebuilt, but engine seals and mounts were replaced in 2005. Cragar rims were added in 2002 and BF Goodrich tires are barely 3 years old with very few miles. This car originally had a vinyl top and in 2012 I started a project to remove the top and fix a few rust areas that were developing around the back window. The top is ready for new vinyl (or with a little more work, keep as a hardtop). This is as far as I got with the project. The repaired areas were then painted blue (rather than leaving primer gray).
