I bought it back in November and have been using it as my daily driver since then. Due to a recent job change, I have a new daily driver so unfortunately that leaves the 911 as the odd man out as my wife and I simply don’t have the space for four cars. I’ve been completely bitten by the 911 bug though, so in due time I should be able to sell my weekend car and re-enter the 911 fold with something more dedicated to driver education / track events. It’s a clean, no-stories car that has been stone cold reliable for me for the past five months. It hasn’t missed a single beat that entire time – fires right up in the morning, everything works just as designed and has genuinely been a joy to own. It’s without a doubt the best daily driver I’ve ever had – great heat, ice-cold A/C, and excellent steering, brake and clutch feedback. The car has been in the northeast its entire life. I’m the fourth owner, and I think the second owner is the gent who installed most of the carbon fiber pieces (which are a mix of OEM and aftermarket) as well as having the rebuilt transmission and LN IMS bearing installed. I used to work as a mechanic at an exotic car dealership back when I was in my college days. So, I still do all of my own work. There really hasn’t been much on the 911: 11/2013 – Changed the oil using 0w-40 Mobil 1 along with an OEM filter and crush washer12/2013 – Replaced the CD holder with an OEM upper storage shelf (cubby) – Installed an Ultimate Cupholder (which comes with the car) – Replaced the wheel locks with OEM lug bolts – Replaced the windshield wipers – Bosch Icon 22A/B – Replaced all the rear light bulbs – tail, brake, reverse and turn signals02/2014 – Installed a Blendmount Valentine 1 radar detector (mount comes with the car)04/2014 – Changed the oil using 0w-40 Mobil 1 along with an OEM filter and crush washer – Replaced the serpentine belt Thanks for your time!
