Vehicle Detail

This is a really nice car with an older restoration dating back to 1990, the previous owner kept meticulous records and all receipts for the work completed. I have an appraisal that states at the time the value of the car is over 25k, but i believe most of these appraisals are for insurance purposes. Ive quickly calculated some of the invoices and this car has over 25k invested. It appears as though the reconstruction/restoration was completed in 1990, The car was born as a base line, 6cyl car and transformed into a 340 car. I was told the motor and transmission was out of a challenger. The motor & transmission were rebuilt in 2009. Paperwork reads motor was bored .30 over 3" exhaust, coated headman headers, mild cam edlebrock performer intake, 4 barrel carb, griffin aluminum radiator, 727 transmission with shift kit. Posi 8 3/4 rear end with 3.55 gears, lightweight stater O4529127 mopar performance. This car was purchased for 10k in 1988 from a used car dealership in San Diego Ca for just over 10k, original sales paperwork in hand. The brakes were converted to stainless steel front and rear power discs. I have the dyno paper work stating that the horse power is 219.52 with 258.83 foot lbs. of torque (this explains the mild cam) the speedo was calibrated on 9-16-92. Hal Shocks front & rear adjustable. Hologen bulbs, Konic front racing seats. Sub frame connectors. The car is in great shape, I believe the finishing touches are minimal. There are a couple of scratches on the driver door, canopy fell and scratched it. A small amount of surface rust on the top of the rear bumper can be seen, someone told me the bumpers have been crafted to fit the car better, Im not sure but I wouldn't doubt it with all of the receipts and the custom work completed. The rear seat folds down & opens up to the trunk. The original jack is in the trunk. In my opinion this is a really great running car, every time I drive it I get thumbs up from other drivers. The original side view mirrors were removed for some aftermarket turbos, they have been removed and just a couple of screws exist now. I have 1 original driver side mirror that I will include with the car. I have attempted to describe the vehicle as best as I can based on the paperwork that was provided to me by the previous owner. I have listed the vehicle no reserve at a very fair rate. I do have the vehicle listed locally & reserve the right to remove it from this site, however if the bid is placed I will lock in and guarantee the sale through ebay. I have a clean title in hand, and the vehicle has currant California registration. I encourage all interested to contact me with any questions, I am not a mechanic or an expert but I will do my best to help the best I can. The speedo reads 25243, Im not sure if thats I'd assume thats over 125k Keywords: Mustang, Camaro, chevelle, malibu, buick, Mopar, charger, challenger, roadrunner, gtx, pontiac, oldsmobile, amx, corvette, satallite, muscle car, vega.
