1955 Ford Thunderbird Convertible/ Hardtop Rust Free No Reserve 34,927 miles. Thought to be original, but we can not prove it so we will say they are exempt. Correct Torch Red paint with White top. 1 repaint that is very nice, with a few small door dents and some small chips. The car has never had rust, and has been stored indoors as a display at Silver Dollar City in Branson Missouri. It has only been driven in parades as a promotional car for the past 10 years. The red and white interior is like new, with the seats, door panels and headliner being perfect. The glass is good and the car has electric windows and electric seats that work. The original AM radio and clock are there, but do not work. The tach, gas guage works, but the speedometer does not. The matching numbers 292 V8 engine purrs like a kitten, and has plenty of power. It has sat for a number of years and only driven for parades, so it does smoke just a bit. I think after it gets warmed up and driven that it will remedy itself. The 3 speed manual transmission with overdrive shifts perfectly through all the gears. The emergency brake works. The hood, trunk and doors open and shut easily. The Remington Wide Whitewall G78/15 tires drive straight down the road with no vibration, and are nearly 100% tread depth. There is no weather checking on the tires. We buy and sell classic cars, and have owned over 150 in the past 10 years. This car is a real head turner, and needs nothing, but you will want to make it your baby, so you will always find things to play with. The value on these just keep going up. They are money in the bank, and much more fun to own! We are located 20 miles south of Lincoln Nebraska, or 60 miles southwest of Omaha. You are welcome to look at the vehicle before you bid. We are willing to meet you at either airport if you decide to drive it home. Since the car is nearly 60 years old, we do not recommend driving across country, but we see nothing at this time that would be a problem. We do take trade ins on classic motorcycles and cars.
