Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a beautifully restored 1968 Camaro Pro touring with lots of extras. The car was completely restored in 2006. I originally purchased this car because I wanted a solid car with no rust and all the original GM metal. This was a very solid car from the beginning, and still has all the original GM metal. The car was completely disassembled, painted, then put back together with new or restored parts. The paint is DuPont base clear coat using 1999 Viper Blue and 1999 Viper Silver with a greenish stripe breaking up the two colors. Everything is painted and not pin stripe. The front panel bumped into the garage door putting a small chip on the nose as seen in the pictures. The engine is a freshly rebuilt 383 Stroker motor with new aluminum heads and full length nickel coated headers, TCI 400 transmission, and built 8.2 10 bolt posi with Richmond 3.73 and Moser Engineering Axles. The engines runs strong but I have never driven the car further then a few miles and a total of less then 100 miles, so I wouldn't recommend driving the car on a long distance. New custom exhaust built to fit tightly along the frame to work with the Airide suspension and 4 wheel disc brakes. The wheels and tires are new billet aluminum 20”x 8.5” rears and 18”x 8” fronts. There is a custom stereo system with two large amps, two 10” subs, Mb quart speakers and a 7” touch screen DVD player. Please feel free to have the car inspected or come see the car yourself, I purchased the car for $14,000 and have invested over $30,000 in the parts and two years of labor of love to restore this car. I need the money and I have only used the car on a limited basis these past years, if you have any questions I will be happy to answer. I have taken a bunch of pictures for the eBay ad, so what you are seeing is the car in the current condition. Also, I had listed this car a few months ago but the winning bidder never paid. Since then I have had the A/C system repaired. The belts were installed and the system charged up blowing cold. The car is located in Bradenton FL if you would like to come see the car. Please don't bid if you are not willing to pay, the deposit must be paid within 24 hours. I will also have the car delivered within 30 miles to your transport company for shipping.
