For sale is a very rare 1978 Ford Thunderbird, Diamond Jubilee Edition, T-Top Convertible, which was acquired from the Antique Automobile Club of America Museum in Hershey, PA. The Diamond Jubilee anniversary model included several items never before offered on a Thunderbird. It has an exclusive monochromatic exterior done in Ember Metallic paint, a matching thickly padded vinyl roof, color-keyed grille texture, a unique quarter window treatment, accent striping, a jewel-like hood ornament, cast aluminum wheels, and a special body side molding. A Diamond Jubilee Edition signature is seen on the opera windows. The owner's nameplate was done in 22-Karat gold-finished when car was new.
