This is an old Chevy truck, blue with blue cloth interior. 142,000 miles. I am the second owner. I bought it at 99,000 miles. I have replaced the downpipe, muffler, and exhaust system. In just the last two months, I have put in a new fuel pump and new brake lines. But here is the bad part: there is some type of "leaking seal" in the back axle or the back part of the transmission or something that is leaking. I took it to a Chevy dealership and they said that they could NOT fix it. They just filled up the transmission fluid. They said they would have to replace the back axle to fix it basically! I'm not a mechanic kind of person so I don't really understand what's wrong, but when they said they couldn't fix it, I know that's a problem! They said that I would have to replace this "fluid" with every oil change from now on. And that's not too often, but still it's a problem. Please DON'T buy this truck unless you have some vague idea what might be wrong, or unless you are a mechanic. I'm not trying to dump this on anybody, but the truck runs great and so I figure maybe someone can use it or fix it. The interior is cloth and is in great shape with no tears in the upholstery. It can be both 2-wheel and 4-wheel drive, but does not switch on the fly and has to be in park to go from 2W to 4W drive.
