Mechanic Special 2006 Mazda Tribute (It is s Ford Escape rebadged and sold by Mazda.) This is the FWD model with a 2.3L inline 4 cylinder engine. Leather interior in excellent condition. Exterior is also in excellent condition. The SUV has been owned by my mom(60 year old Grandma) bought since 2007. It was purchased when my Daughter was born as a safe vehicle to transport her in. The car has been an excellent vehicle well maintained mechanically and cosmetically. Last week the transmission went out(The mechanic said it was losing pressure.) Transmission will need to be replaced. The rest of the car works perfect and has never gave my mom any issues at all. I drove it last week when she suspected something was going wrong with it and in the 10 minutes i drove it the car ran perfect. This would be a perfect car for a mechanic to fix and sell or as a kids first car. You can find a used transmission online or at your local pick & pull. If i were mechanically inclined i would replace it myself and keep as a second car. The car is paid off and i have the title in hand. The SUV is a perfect parts car if that was your intention. I would hate to see that happen to such a perfect car tho. The Kelly Blue Book price is $4591 to sell to private party as it would qualify for very good condition (That is with the transmission fixed) Im located in Santa Rosa, CA, which is 1 hour north of San Francisco I will try to answer any questions as quick as possible.
