74 VW SUPER BEETLE Very original and in running and driving condition. It will still need some TLC to be 100%, but it is in much better condition than most examples out there. -Starts right up, drives and shifts through all gears with no grinds or shifter pop outs. It does have some minor oil leaking, cooling fan noise, and valves a bit noisy. Probably due for adjustment. Absolutely no smoke whatsoever, even under full throttle. -Clean and clear title, car has always been here in Southeastern Virginia -Mileage unknown, but based on wear it is not excessive -No previous collision damage evident, appears to have only one respray in its original orange -Doors open and close perfect, nice gaps -Excellent electricals, all in working order -Typical VW Bug rust areas, but nothing too bad - the floorboards have already been done. The front trunk pan patched. -Chassis in very nice shape -Many new parts including Mahle German Exhaust, brakes, brake hoses, Rear KYB shocks, Castrol 20w50 oil change, fuel pump, ignition switch, heater hose block off kit for improved cooling (I have the hoses to return back if desired)new battery, starter -Front struts needing replacement and front wheel bearings were next on my to-do list. -Front hood just recently wont open, latch assembly -Steering and brakes feel great -Functioning AM FM Cassette -Overall a great Super with lots of potential. This due to the noisy front wheel bearing and front struts, as I mentioned in the description. Again,It runs shifts brakes and drives through all gears and the clutch is functioning properly.
