1972 Chevy Short Bed Step Side Truck. Freshly Restored. Has 350 miles on truck since finished restoration. Truck has had break in miles and tuning done so it is road ready to be driven without any problems. This truck was a frame off restoration and will come included with more than 50 photos of the build. Body and Paint job were professionally done. Dents were properly removed and holes were properly welded and sealed. The Inside of Cab, Firewall and all inner door jambs and core supports have all been painted to match the exterior. The truck was disassembled and all glass removed to perform the paint job. The Hot Rod Satin Black is a Single Stage paint job that will handle the normal conditions of everyday use. This black is not your cheap paint that will chalk in the sun and can't have bugs or be washed. This is a very good quality paint that is no different than your other car that you drive now. Looks very nice. The Exterior of the truck has had all new Accessories installed. The Front Grille Bezel has been painted Satin Black with a polished Billet Insert added for a clean look. The front bumper is a new 1970 with removed Turn signals. The headlights are Tri bar with turn signals installed in them. New emblems, Door Handles, Side Marker Lights have all been replaced. The Tail lights are 1939 Ford LED ( very high Quality) "Brite" installed into the Rear Fenders. The Mirrors are new from a 1957 Chevy Bel Air to give them a Hot Rod Look. The front windshield is new with Black Tint. All rubbers have been replaced, Doors Windows, Hood Bumpers. Window Weather stripping has been replaced. All Locks and Keys including the Key Switch have been replaced. The Engine on the truck is a rebuilt 350 Small Block Chevy with RV cam and Noise Gear Drive. Has Rebuilt Edelbrock Carburetor and Edelbrock intake Manifold. Newer HEI Distributor, Accel Wires, Chrome Oil Pan & Timing Chain Cover. Has Polished Water Pump with Chrome Pulleys and Brackets. New @ Core Aluminum Radiator and Chrome Radiator Hoses. New Battery. New Long Tube Headers and 2 1/4" Dual Exhaust System with 18" Glass Pack Mufflers exiting out the side in front of the tires with 3" Round Stainless Tips. TH350 Automatic Transmission Has been rebuilt at a time, but has some miles since the rebuild. Has shift kit installed with Polished Aluminum Pan and Chrome Dipstick. Truck Shift Very good and firm. Drives very good on the freeway. The Frame Was Cleaned and Painted with a POR 15 Chassis Black as were the underside of the Fenderwells and Fenders. Suspension is new CPP front and Rear Shocks with 3" in Front and 4" in the Rear Lowered. All new Brakes. New Rubber brake lines, Wheel Cylinders, Drums, Shoes and Master Cylinder. All Cab Bushings were replaced with Energy Suspension mounts. Interior is all new. New Black Carpet with new Chrome door Sills. Inside has been Color Matched Satin Black. New Black Steering Column with New Chrome Billet Steering wheel with Smooth Button and billet shifter accessories. New Black Door panels, Visors, Arm Rests, Dash Pad and Glove Box. Gauges are restored and all functioning correctly. The Seat is new with a Black Velour on the top and Black Vinyl on the sides. The Stereo System is new with a Pioneer CD Player and Rockford Fosgate 5 1/2" speakers mounted in the doors( Not Hacked in). All work was professionally done. The Bed floor has all new Hardware and wood. The flooring was finished in a Hardwood Brown stain Color with aluminum strips finishing it off. Inside of bed is Satin Black to match the exterior. The Wheels and Tire are New with only the 350 Miles on them. Has Crager Chrome Steal wheels with Hidden Lug Nuts. The tires are Cooper 245/60/15 Fronts and 275/60/15 Rears. The issues with the truck are there is a small amount of rust in the passengers front Wheel Well under the battery tray. This is a common spot for rust, has been sealed. It is ok, but could be replaced. We could not find a good used replacement at the time of the build. Does not have Power Steering or Power Brakes. This model did not come with the power assist so we did not upgrade, we just restored and replaced everything back to what it was. I just want to be up front about the truck. This is a very nice truck. Ready for someone to hit the key and start driving to car shows tomorrow. The truck was professionally built at a Hot Rod Shop.
