Vehicle Detail
Reluctantly up for auction is my freshly restored ATC250R. This has been my personal project for the last two years. Here are the details. I started with a straight frame, had it bead blasted and checked for any cracks. There were no cracks or previous repairs. The frame, swing arm, brackets, and front wheel were all powder coated. All bearings in the chassis were replaced including swing arm, linkage, axle carrier, and front wheel hub. Chassis and engine were assembled with polished stainless steel hardware. All cables are new, Motion Pro twist throttle. New handlebars top off the chassis. The engine was completely disassembled for inspection. The engine was in amazing shape, No wear was found on shift forks or gears. Clutch disks were replaced for good measure. The top end was inspected. A fresh first over bore was done fitted with a wiesco piston. The ports are completely stock as is the compression ratio. The cases were bead blasted and painted. New billet case saver. Carburetor has been disassembled and cleaned as needed. New fuel filter, New petcock seal. Has a FMF gold series "fatty" pipe with a polished answer silencer/spark arrestor. Rear shock was sent to "Schmidity" racing in Visalia for professional rebuilding. New K&N air filter. New Kenda front tire. New "SandShark" paddles on polished 10" douglas wheels. DuraBlue rear axle fade nut. New sprockets and chain. The only negative is the Meyers plastics. Although they are very nice, the stock ones are thicker and fit better. I'm sure I left a few things out. trust me you won't be disappointed!!! A bit about me…I have been a mechanic all my life with my own machine shop on the side, I have performed the entire restoration with the exception of the powder coating and cylinder boring. I built this machine to be a bike I could ride without having to wrench on it all weekend. As you can see in the photos, I am meticulous in the details. I took it to Pismo Mar 22-23 to work out any bugs and am happy to say the bike performed flawless. I did however realize I am too old for three wheelers when I couldn't walk the next day. LOL Clean California title and green sticker. Absolutely ready to ride. I prefer local pickup in San Jose Ca. But if you make your own arrangements with a shipping company I will help within reason. Please communicate your plans before bidding. Please ask any and all questions. I respond quickly. Deposit required within 24 hours of sale and final payment within 7 days.
