Vehicle Detail
The GB 400 (Japan only) and 500 Tourist Trophy were limited production runs in the late 1980's harkening back to the early British single piston ("thumpers") motorcycles. My "Geeb" is not mint and was/ has been a rider. As would be expected, there are blemishes here and there. Please review all photos closely and ask questions. I have tried to show all imperfections. For example, the engine shows surface flaking but the chrome parts are surprisingly shiny and intact. I am the third owner, bought it almost three years ago, and put less than 400 miles on it. The mileage is currently near 25,300. It runs well and starts at first attempt (electric start wise, haven't tried the kickstart). The previous owner, unfortunately got hit by a car while on the bike. As a result, the muffler has a dent on it and the right rearset was broken and welded back together. Amazingly that was the only damage! The photos highlight the damage. Everything is stock except the Napolean bar end mirrors. I have only one of the original mirrors. I have the original bar end (weights) too. All will be shipped with bike. I replaced the battery and tires about 200 miles ago. Tires still have nubs on them. Title is clear and in my name. The bike runs well, corners well, and would be a classy ride to classic bike shows but remember, it's a single piston, not a sportbike, so you're not going to beat many others off the line! And unlike other vintage marques, the Honda RFVC is reliable (versus finicky, constant mechanical attention of other more well known collectible marques). If you know this bike, you know this is a relatively rare bike and the value has been increasing.
