Vehicle Detail
High bidder flaked, so I am relisting. My reserve is $23K. I am not selling the car for less. Feel free to make an offer above the reserve and I may end the auction early. Many interested parties, so don't wait. Immediate deposit of $500 via paypal is required upon acceptance of the offer or at the end of the auction, whichever comes first. This is a 100% street legal and reliable show car in near flawless condition. This is a professional rotisserie build and is 100% new and functional. All lights, turn signals, gauges, etc. work. It is a 6-year-old build that has roughly 1200 miles on it. There are absolutely ZERO issues with the car. 500 horse 360 with aluminum heads. Motor was built at a racing shop, not a crate motor. Pump-gas friendly. This is a fully tubbed pro street car. It has a narrowed 8 3/4 rear, 4-link, coil-over set up that operates exactly as it should. 3:91 gears. Disc brakes work perfectly. All tires are like new with 3.5's in front and enormous 31.5 tall 15" in the rear that are 16.5" wide. This car has been driven around town and on the highway without any issues whatsoever. I have owned the car for 5 years. It had 500 miles on the build when I bought it. I have taken it to one show, 3 or 4 years ago (60-mile trip) and made several 15-mile (or so) trips, plus some town driving. I drove it yesterday in 70+ degree weather, town driving. The temp reached 165 degrees. On 90+ degree days, it gets to 180 max, even with no fan shroud. There are no leaks of any kind. No noises or any problems whatsoever. Starts up on first crank, every time, no problem. Yes, it's fast and it's light with a 500HP small block. The throttle is extremely responsive! The torque off the line is amazing. The car sounds absolutely WICKED with a street friendly, yet very lopey cam. Dual Flowmasters deliver an insane sound to your ears through this small block Mopar. I will try to post a video, though that may be tricky. I have to borrow stuff to make that happen. The 904 trans shifts firmly, as it should. 2800 stall. The color is just a bit deeper and more intense than B5 blue. There are no flaws in the paint and the body is 100% straight (again, it's a show car). The interior is perfect. Dash pad, carpet, seats, door panels, headliner, all mint like brand new. The seats appear reddish in the pics, this is due to camera settings. The seats are actually black as night and match the carpet and dash. All aluminum work (in trunk, interior wheel tubs, etc.) is top notch quality and done in gloss black. No chips or scratches anywhere. The undercarriage aluminum floors are also gloss black and continue all the way to the front seats. Yes, it's gloss black underneath! The underside is clean with a few hundred miles worth of road dust. You could clean it off with a swiffer. The wheels are polished Weld Wheel Drag Stars in flawless condition, as shiny as they come. The bumpers are new and have flawless show-chrome. Not the slightest blemish. I am only selling this car because I have so many others. Most of them are unfinished. The sale of this car (should it sell) will fund the other projects. Let it be known that this Duster is the finest car of the 5 finished cars that I have. Clean and clear title in my name. If I have forgotten to cover something, which I'm sure I have, feel free to ask any questions. I will add info as I remember it. I have a folder full of reciepts for this car, documenting all that I have described.I also have a 1969 Dodge Dart Swinger. It is a 6-cyl 2-door coupe in light yellow with black interior. It needs a carburetor and brakes but otherwise runs well. Interior it good but needs headliner. All gauges & turn signals work. It has a few very fixable dents. I also have a 1966 Chrysler Newport 4-door with an awesome running 383 with 4bbl and 727 trans. Everything works in and on this car. Buy both cars and put the 383/727 in the Dart and you have a low 14-second to high 13-second Dart. I can get pics. $2500 for the Dart and $1500 for the Newport. Both cars are original California cars. The Dart is a one-owner, black pate car! Newport is also a black plate car. Clear titles in my hand on both cars. No fees due. First $3500 offer takes them both.
