Vehicle Detail

Rust in all the right places. This is a 1965 Chevy C10 short bed small window. It has been converted to a 6.0 LS2 motor. Fully fuel injected drive by wire. Has disc brakes all the way around. GM OEM up front and willwood in the rear. When I bought it it had undergone a frame off restoration. Eveything had been taken off and was redone except for the body and interior. It has a really nice shop truck look. The transmission is a 4L65 with a 3500 stall. Has dual magna flow exhaust and just dumps right past the tranny. It is very loud and pretty darn fast. The modern motor was professionally installed. It has all gm parts in it except for the custom cam shaft. It has just the right amount of rumble with out wanting to die on you ever. I also had a Old Air AC and Heater installed in it. Has a Digital dakota aftermarket gauges that work accurately. Has a hurst line lock for burn outs, which I have never used. The previous owner said he did it once. I don't pay a ton of $ for nice tires to roast them out like an idiot. The C10 is sitting on 22in rears and 20in up front. They are centerline wheels that have been powder coated a pearl grey. The gas tank has been relocated in the rear and is fully fuel injected and the receiving unit works. Windshield wipers work and added a cd player with a JL Audio sub woofer ported incloser 8 inch W3 that sounds killer inside the cab but not loud outside. My neighbor says her house shakes when I start it up!!! Not in a hurry to sell this thing but it is time to move on and let someone else enjoy this sweet ride. You will get stares of envy and thumbs up whenever you take it out. Starts right up even in the winter due to the modern fuel injection. Only put a little less than 1900 miles on it since the swap. All lights have been changed and uprgraded to LED with new Xenon headlights. All lights work.On Mar-24-14 at 18:08:06 PDT, seller added the following information: If you want more info just give me a call. My name is Chris and you can reach me at 970-372-9641. Would be interested in possible trades for Volkswagen Golf, GTI or Honda Civic. On Mar-25-14 at 16:41:08 PDT, seller added the following information: Here is a link to some videos. If you want a specific photo or another video just let me know. I will put one together.https://www.dropbox.com/sh/6idvyiifhuhclht/BksoQAkraU On Mar-25-14 at 16:55:32 PDT, seller added the following information: Someone asked what the high pitch sound in the video is.... It is the giant air intake sucking in air echoing through the steel tube. It sounds like a loud Darth Vader. Isn't as noticeable once it is in gear. All you can hear and feel is the engine! This thing is very loud and vibrates the neighborhood! haha If you play the videos through a speaker system that has subwoofer capabilities you will be able to hear the deeper sound of the motor, otherwise you just get the high pitch air flow sound.....On Mar-27-14 at 17:39:38 PDT, seller added the following information: $2200 on wheels and around $1000 on the tires. (sold old wheels and tires for $500) $1300 on the AC heater, Vintage Air (plus $450 to install….) $830 on Front drive assembly. $747.45 on Digital Dash $598.63 on Rear Willwood Disk Brake (plus $300 install) $10,000 on C-10 Truck off of Ebay, had 350 and th400 (sold for $1800) $3500 on LS2 Motor Long Block $1800 on 4L65 Transmission and Stall Converter $325 on all new lights and LED conversion. $11,234.46 on motor install and all conversion parts and labor (see attached) This is the best I could do about putting together numbers on $ spent the past 2 years on this. I went back to my CC and ebay files to get these numbers. There were other costs a long the way like stereo, glass, chrome, truck cover. I only put top of the line parts on this thing. I like nice things and only want to spend once even if it costs more on the front end. I have over $33,500 in this truck.
