This is a superb starter car. Up for sale is a 1969 Chevy Corvette Convertible With a 454 Bored out to a 461 and a th 400 transmission and posi rear. The car is all there. There is nothing missing. I bouth this car from a man who has owned it for 39 years and it has been sitting in his garage. If you look carefully it has a 1973 front end on it. He informed me that when he bought it in 1975 the front end was changed by the first owner to look like a 1973 so it would look like the new model. Looking back 47 Years it was the cool thing to do buy today, it would have been better to keep it all original. Any how. the 1973 sells for about 5k less than the 1969. These cars retail for 30k - 50k - 80k. So its a great deel. However it is a 1969, and the front clip is only 1300 from ecklers to bring back original. Have not started it up yet. The carb is shot. I just purchased a 770 Holley avenger and will probably have it cranked up by next week. Please feel free to ask any questions. No outside deals will be made so please dont ask. The engine runs great, the tranny is good and the rear is good. It just needs cosmetic work. There were only 16,663 convertibles made in 1969, can't be nearly that much left now. This is not a numbers matching car. As a matter of fact, in 1969, Chevy did not offer a 454, they offered a 427. So to be clear this is a 1969, with a 454 bored out to a 461, with a TH 400 and the front was changed to a 1973 style and the Engine and Trans Was upgraded the same. You just cant beat a Big Block corvette. Allot of power in a light car and its a Conv. Skrrrrrt!!! Happy Bidding!
