Non Matching numbers car but a desirable Euro Delivery, originally delivered to Hahn in Stuttgart(documented). Runs drives and stops. The car has issues but with some work could become a reasonable driver, or make it a restoration project. Interior is out of the car but included with sale is a brand new square weave carpet set and front and rear seat covers from Autobahn Interiors. Also included is a new headliner, a new interior rear firewall panel and side panels. The battery box has recently been replaced by a well respected 356 metal shop. At the same time the strengthening wires in the wheel arches were repaired- thus the reason for the exposed metal at all 4 wheels in the photos. Floor pan is an older replacement and is solid and sound, but would not meet the standards of today's restorations. Front windshield is cracked. Paint is all over the map and should be considered poor. The car retains the Euro Heater valves and heater boxes but the remaining Euro Heater components are not with the car. Aftermarket radio. 912 Motor with matching case haves and third piece with good compression. The Speedometer is in MPH. Doors make a nice solid "thunk" when closed. Seats are mostly stripped(photo added of new seat covers) Rubber floor mats are with the car but not in the photos. Rear side panels and firewall panels are off (photo added). There is a headliner in the car but it is painted black and has a tear. Photo added of crack in the windshield. Boot area is ok except for one area of rust in the rain gutter. Boot and rear deck lid are stamped 762 matching VIN. Engine bay does not have the tar sound insulation and there are some rust holes in the package tray area. Car shifts fine but the linkage needs adjustment or the nylon bushing replaced(have not had time to address) I compression tested the engine and all cylinders tested in the 135 PSI range. Carbs have been thoroughly cleaned and fuel pump re-built.
