Get ready for Spring! Its time for a top down cruise. 78 Beetle Convertible, from California, (I purchased it and had it shipped from California it has been stored in heated garage since) 4 speed, with 85,000 miles, Mars Red with Black interior even have owners manual and lots of receipts and documentation. This is a nice survivor / driver, or easy showroom restore. Over $8,000 invested. ABSOLUTELY NO RUST, even the floorboard under the battery is completely solid and original!!! Engine has about 3500 miles on a rebuild, fuel injection, mechanically this car is almost perfect. It has new brakes wheel cylinders, and master cylinder, electronic distributor, cap wire, plugs, tires, seats have just been redone, new carpet, along with a new top, with all new headliner, and pad. FM/AM Stereo with cassette and AUX input. Some of the things I was going to do to complete a showroom restore, was an alignment (steering wheel is off center), rear wheel bearings (RR is a little noisy) and paint. I have the wheel bearings and if I get time I will be installing those, the paint is faded and has chips but is still shinny and presentable. I have many parts and rubber parts purchased to complete the restore. I have just run out of time to enjoy it (5 kids) and need the space. Call or text 317-341-4525. This is a great bug!!
