Vehicle Detail
Very nice little truck. It is not a nut and bolt restoration, but does look nice. The truck retains it's original frame, drum brakes all around. It has a 394 Oldsmobile Sky Rocket engine that runs great. The transmission is an automatic, but I'm not sure what type. I think the rearend is a 9", but not sure. The paint looks nice and I would would put it at about a 7.....7.5 out of ten. The bed sides have waives, but hard to notice with the white paint. The interior is almost all done, but needs a little white shot on the metal around the back window and around the doors on the inside, simple to do. It has nice carpet and headliner in it and the seat and door panels are nice. The truck has a new BARE BONZ wiring harness in it. The glass is all new with a one piece front windshield and it's all tented. The glass looks great with the white exterior. It cruises nice at around 65 and my son seemed to like to drive it at 70! The bed has new wood in it. The rear tail lights and cool. All the chrome looks nice, but can us a good buffing. It has an electric fuel pump. I can't think of anything else right now. I will add more if I remember. Oh, I remembered one, the dash clusters are new, but not hooked up yet. The tires are new and the rims are nice looking. If you want a truck just to jump in and enjoy and not worry about messing up a show truck, then this is it! You get a few little things to tinker with too. Please ask all questions before bidding. I will take as many pictures as you need. Shipping is the winning bidders responsibility. Please do not bid if you have "0" feedback. Contact me first. Thanks, and happy bidding. On Mar-02-14 at 06:29:47 PST, seller added the following information: I wanted to make sure that you understood that the frame and front suspension is all stock and the frame and underside of the cab still retain the original undercoating. I do not know the history of the engine and transmission. I can't tell you how many miles are on the engine, sorry. I can't tell you when the running gear was last rebuilt. The transmission pan has a little leak and leaves a few drops of tranny fluid when it sits. This is a great little truck, but I want to make sure everyone understands that it's a driver quality truck that was not a complete restoration project. Very cool looking truck and great looking retro engine. Again, please feel free to ask any questions before bidding. I want the winning bidder to be happy with the truck. I have more room for pictures, so if you want a picture of something on the truck, please just ask. Thanks
