Vehicle Detail

1992 Olds Custom Cruiser wagon in very nice condition that runs and drives great. This one has the more desirable 5.7 engine. I shipped this to NY from Maryland, so it has never been in NY winters and salt, so the body is very solid. Just a couple small surface rust spots (below drivers door and in lower cargo area opening, but neither has rusted through and are not noticeable when the doors are closed) and 1 small area that did rust through just behind the driver's side, rear door on the dogleg, but it is behind a plastic panel and not noticeable unless you specifically look for it.....I included a picture of it....the passenger side is perfect in this same area...so it must have just gotten plugged up and held the moisture in there on this side. The hood and roof have several small dings, which the previous owner told me was from parking under a walnut tree...I tried to show this in the picture of the hood, but it is hard to see. Other than those areas mentioned. this wagon is very straight and solid. Paint still shines very nice and the sides are not all dinged up...see pictures. Interior is nice with no rips in upholstery, carpet is nice with a few worn spots, but no holes...could use a good professional cleaning to really look great. Headliner is nice and not sagging. Driver's side window is slow and sometimes needs help going back up...all the other windows work. Previous owner told me gas gauge does not work...I did not drive it enough to ever need to add gas. Passenger side seatbelt does not retract. I have a new NOS "CRUISER" emblem for the one that is missing on the driver's door, that goes with the car. Good tires and quiet exhaust...idles nice with no misses, rattles or smoke. Car is 22 years old, so expect minor things consistent with a car of this age, but it is definitely above average. I bought it to haul my family around, but as soon as they saw it, they said no way...I guess everyone does not appreciate these cool old wagons! I have a clear, open MD title in hand. Please ask any questions you may have and/or if you need any pictures of particular areas. Thanks for looking!!
