If you are looking for a show room condition bike this might not be the one for you. Up for sale at a very fair price is my 1975 CB750 cafe racer in very good and reliable condition, I bought it 3 years ago from a guy in Arizona who left it covered in his garage for several years. I’ve been bringing it back to life for the past 2 years and has been my cafe project. Since I bought it I have put less than 1,000 miles on it and it has never let me down. The bike has a lot of money invested in parts and labor but unfortunately I have other priorities and it’s time for someone else to enjoy it and finish remaining details. As mentioned earlier it’s not a show bike by any means but I can guarantee it takes everyone’s attention wherever you go. The paint of the engine is peeling. Wheels, spokes and exhaust system are dated and worn (Not too bad either). I had the intention to sandblast and powder coat them but I will leave that to the next owner. Fuel petcock is leaking few drops when left for long time. When I removed original odometer a year ago it showed 18,692 miles, but the odometer I installed currently shows 38,811. Since original speedo was removed the bike has been driven less than 500 miles so I would say bike has around 19,XXX miles but exact mileage is unknown. (Original Odometer is included on the sale). I have for sale (not included on the auction) a brand new uninstalled stainless steel brake hose, a used front disk brake and a remanufactured front brake caliper (sandblasted, new piston, brake pads, adjusting bolt spring nut and washers) that I wanted to install to add braking performance. I also have brand new fuel tank rubbers (L & R), fuel tank cushion and fuel cap gasket. Paid $220 for the caliper, $40 for the disc, $100 for the hose and $35 for the tank seal kit. I’m willing to sell everything for $250 if wanted. Bike is currently as non-op so no fees due. Reserve price has been set very low considering what I have invested in parts and labor! I have tried to describe my bike as honest and accurate as possible and I might be missing something so please feel free as many questions as necessary and I’ll get back to you within next 24 hrs.
