Up for auction is a good used 1982 Honda CB 900F Supersport. I bought this with the intent to restore it but never materialized. I got the bike from a customer of ours who owned it for about fifteen years,so I knew the history of the bike. It sat for a few years. In order to sell it in good running condition we removed and ultrasonically cleaned the carburetors. Replaced any needed internals reinstalled them on the bike and it started right up. We synchronized and tuned them so it idles and accelerates nicely. Engine is tight , NO smoking or abnormal noises. The bike is straight no road rash. Front end is straight. Wheels and rotors are true. Original exhaust (rare) in good shape. Bike goes thru all the gears and into neutral easily. Now in order for it to be roadworthy it should have the front and rear brake master cylinders and calipers cleaned and possibly rebuilt. Not working now. Needs fuel petcock (leaks slightly). Seat cover ripped (not really needed but would look nicer) Probably tires. Clear open New York title. Remember this is a 30 year old bike so normal pitting, rust, general wear. Its NOT a show bike and the price reflects that. These bikes are steadily appreciating Not depreciating. Any questions or concerns email or call me at the shop 9-5 eastern.
