1973 MAICO MC400 in excellent condition!!! This bike was my back up race bike and was ridden in about 8 motos which is about 1 hr of riding time . No expense was spared , motor was rebuilt by Maico Moe ! bearings ,rod and piston all renewed and a 82 490 small clutch installed , Maico Only pipe and silencer which is like new!! and Mikuni carb complete the engine . Frame was checked and powder coated silver and wide MO cast foot pegs added. Suspension in the back are custom valved Ohlins from the Husky Club (By Craig) and in the front new springs from MO. Controls are Renthal Vintage bend , split perch Magura levers and Gunnar Gasser throttle , all cables are new and nothing is bent! Front brake cable is led to the left side by using a 1980 brake stay for much better braking, Custom small Maico 125 style tank makes the bike very compact and easy to rail the corners , Rear hub is powder coated and both wheels laced by Buchanon to Excels, and of course new spokes, has the original NWM plastic so it is not glossy! front and rear are both perfect, tires are Dunlop 756's, NEARLY ALL BOLTS , CASE SCREWS etc are TITANIUM!!!! not the axles or swing arm pivot bolt. about $1500 worth!!! this bike is amazing on the track, super light , feels like a 125 with 400cc power . I came up with a weight of 206lbs with a little gas !! Other items custom billet head stay, billet front number plate mounts, custom rear brake lever not foot pedal, New sprockets and DID gold chain.There are other items I know I have missed .My bikes have always had the reputation of being some of the finest machinery at the races !! and have many references on the west coast . This bike is ready to win at any level OR just look at! the bike comes with a bill of sale.I will not release the bike until all funds have cleared my bank.
