This is a very nice condition low miles 79 R100Rt. It has minor small nicks and scratches on the paint from over 30 years of use. But nothing major and no dents. The bike runs great. The carbs have been rebuilt, new fork seals, good tires etc. I purchased the bike this past summer. The speedometer stopped working (very commonplace for these)at roughly 11,500mi. I estimate that I put fewer than 1500mi on it this last year. The rear brake is weak. I'm sure it just needs to be bled. Other than that everything works great. As you can see in the photos the bike really is in great shape. I have the battery out and the bike has been properly stored for winter. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. This is absolutely, unequivocally not the correct mileage on the bike. The speedometer stopped working at right about 11,600mi. I did not put more than 1500mi on the bike since it stopped. This is why I listed it at 13,000. As most BMW owners know, this is a common occurrence. The gears go bad and the odometer jumps around. I should have put this in the add at the beginning. I do apologize. If anyone wants to retract their bid I will certainly understand. I want the new owner to be happy with their purchase. I do not anyone to think that I'm not representing the bike honestly. This is a great bike. I am very fond of it. I am only selling it because I need the money.
