Unfortunately, the sale turned into a circus, and the buyer took us on a roller coaster ride, to say the least. This is a great truck, fully loaded, and is in GREAT CONDITION. It has been 100% reliable for me, and will make it's new owner very happy. I did take my SUV in to have a certified vehicle inspection done by our Lincoln dealer in October, 2013, before listing it the previous time. Obviously, some time has passed since then, and unfortunately we have not brought it in again to get an updated report for this listing. There is an existing lifetime warranty on the suspension, and I also have the original Lincoln Manuals for the vehicle!! The exterior is in great condition. The lenses are crystal clear, and it always shines up like new after a bath. Unfortunately, one of the teeth on the grill is cracked. The interior is absolutely beautiful. I actually viewed a few different Navigators before making my mind up on this one. The biggest drawback was how "beaten up", so to speak, the interior was on most of the other Navigators I had viewed. Then, I came across this Navigator. The interior is in great shape!! There is barely any wear on the inside!! The leather still looks new, and is not cracked, or torn. The finish on the dash, and other components of the vehicle appear unaffected by age, use, or the sun. The carpet still looks great and it still has all of it's floor mats. There aren't any stains or holes. There is one small mark on the driver side seat, about the size of a pencil tip. It was there when I purchased it. Everything looks really nice, not worn or abused. This truck has been well taken care of, and it shows.I had the suspension on this vehicle converted approx. four months ago. Our neighborhood (Barrington, IL) Lincoln Dealer installed a StrutMasters conversion kit per this vehicles specifications. For those of you that are familiar with the Navigator's, you already know that the 2003 & 2004 models are notorious for the Air Ride Suspension going out... resulting in up to a hefty $2000 - $5000 in repairs!! The suspension on this Navigator needed some maintenance when I purchased it, and I invested $2,500 into the Air Ride Suspension before converting it. I replaced the compressor, two sensors, the springs, and two bags to find out that the control module also needed to be replaced. Lincoln does not make or sell control modules for this year Navigator anymore, so the suspension was converted. The conversion kit that has been installed was picked out by our Lincoln Dealer, and installed by our Lincoln Dealer. There is an existing lifetime warranty on the suspension, so any further issues will be covered and backed by StrutMasters. This suspension allows for you to increase your wheel size only up to 22", and then it is recommended that a lift be done if you want to install anything larger on it. The suspension is smooth, and closely mimics the smoothness and comfortability of the stock Air Ride Suspension. It was a very nice investment.I installed 22" wheels and tires on this Navigator, but will not be selling them with the Navigator. I have reinstalled the factory chrome Lincoln wheels. It has a matching set of tires with approx. 30% tread left on them. Unfortunately, the front drivers side tire had a sidewall leak, so I have installed a different tire on the front, passenger side. I did not see a point in purchasing new tires for these wheels, to just turn around and sell this Navigator. The Navigator handles perfectly with them on, and the 4x4 is a dream!! It feels very safe driving this vehicle. I would, however, recommend that new tires are eventually purchased for it. The factory chrome rims are beginning to show some wear. There's some peeling on the inside that you can see in the pictures above.I really can't say enough about this SUV!! Some of my favorite features are the heated seats, the sunroof, the premium sound system, the touch screen stereo unit, the luxurious interior, the keyless entry, the garage opener, the in dash 6 disc cd changer, the factory installed DVD player, the over-abundance of air bags, the powerful 300hp 5.4l engine, the beautifully responsive handling, the amazing visibility at night, the confidence it provides driving through any weather, the reliability, the memory seats, and the roomy interior!! This Navigator has hands down been my second favorite vehicle that I've ever owned (my Mustang being my favorite, of course).I know that it is difficult bidding on a vehicle you have not yet seen. I completely understand any anxiety you may experience while contemplating purchasing this vehicle... that is why communication is so important before making this purchase.
