Up for auction is a beautiful 1986 R-80/ 7 Café Racer. I call her “Thumper”. This bike has placed and seen in numerous vintage motorcycle shows at the put on by many organizations such as Cafemoto Orlando, Ace Café London and Dime City Cycles. This stunning machine began as a complete R80rs airhead with low miles. It has been rebuilt from the ground up using high quality parts, custom fabricated pieces, and a whole lot of elbow grease. The frame, swing arm, triple, motor mounts, and all the bits were media blasted and powder coated. The bike has new fork seals, fork boots, rear shocks, tapered head bearings, Stainless Steel top triple and upper fork bolts.The motor has been rebuilt with new gaskets, seals, clutch, BMW piston rings and has been repainted (or powder coated in certain areas) and highlights polished. Front cover, Starter insert, and other joints of the motor was finished off with stainless allen fasteners.Carburetors have been replaced with Bing Roundtop carburetors. Rebuilt, jetted, and attached using stainless clamps.
