Take a look at this very clean1999 Jaguar XK8 convertible with only 40k original miles. There are no dash lights on and the motor sounds very solid. It runs and drives good and the top and wheels are good shape. The issues that need to be addressed are the tires are very old and in fact my be the originals so they have dry rot cracks starting to show on the sidewalls. The power top is not working and after having it checked out it has the very common problem of the hydraulic line leaking at the latching mechanism above the windshield. The kit to repair the line cost $325.00 plus about 4 hours labor time unless you can do it yourself. The body is in very good condition for the year as you can see in the pictures but there is a small scuff on the right front corner of the front bumper were it also has a parking lens cracked that you can see in the pictures. I also noticed that the power mirror switch is not working and needs to be replaced. This is a great car for someone that can do the repairs themselves or even if you need to sub out the work you would have a really clean low mileage Jaguar convertible for the summer for not a lot of money. All the wood on the dash is in excellent condition and it comes with 2 keys and all the owners manuals.
