I bought this bike from, what I was told was the 2nd owner. The gentleman I bought it from, purchased it from his father, who was the original owner. The story on the bike is that it is bone stock completely original, except for the tank and the carbs. The previous owner took the original tank and carbs off of the bike to clean as a maintenance item, put them in his house, and the house caught fire with the tank and carbs inside. I had another 1971 tank from another project that I have put on the bike, as well as a set of carbs. The tank is the correct color and year, but it is in need of being re-painted. The bike is original, including the correct HM300 factory pipes. The pipes are overall in pretty solid condition, they have some small holes where the head portion of the pipe is connected to the muffler portion of the pipe. This is shown in one of the pictures. All of the lights and signals work, including the indicator lights in the gauges. The turn signals flash, but it is a long time in between flashes when they do. The tachometer does not work currently, it could be the tach itself or it could be the cable. The motor has some oxidation from sitting for a while, but overall is very solid without all the normal oil leaks around the front corner of the head. I put a brand new sealed battery in the bike. The bike starts up and idles just fine but bogs down with too much throttle without the choke on. With that said, It will definitely need the standard CB750 full tune up before I would want to ride it safely. The front brake caliper needs a new seal, which I have ordered and will install when it arrives. I will update the ad when this is completed, or if it doesn't fix the front brake sticking. I have a clean title for the bike. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I took the caliper apart, cleaned all of the surfaces inside where the piston sits, and also cleaned the piston, and then put in the new seal.
