The paint is less than 2 years and 9.9 out of 10. The chrome is very good, probably 8 out of 10. I installed side emblem covers of GS100E and have the GS1000 side covers (new )which I am probably going to install. The bike is not an E version and so has spoked wheels not the mags. I was going to upgrade to mags at some point. I also have the full decal kit new which I was going to put on. My plan was to bring it to full stock or maybe and “E” version stock. The engine case covers were chromed by someone at some point and have some pitting noticeable close up. The engine case was painted black and, although I would prefer it stock it looks good. The bike has 31k miles on it. It rides awesome, shifts great, good power and everything works. It has the stock exhaust and so is a sleeper for anyone that doesn’t know this was the fastest bike that year. I had a 1980 GS1000E 30 years ago and riding this is like climbing into the time machine.
