I bought this neat short bed 5speed 4x4 truck about 2006,been driving it ever since,fr.r.axle bangs when engaged in four wheel, never has got worse or louder,Axle doesnt turn or get worse in 2WD.Never "wheeled" this truck,always went down the trails to where everyone beats on their rides and watched them break their stuff,truck has went camping @ouray,silverton,telluride,etc.with no problems. the buyer will get a pair of new,not rebuilt axles with the truck,you will have to install them,i dont have the tools to do it.the passenger side axle clunks,drivers side is fine(bought both sides anyway,figured doing both eventually or just the noisy one) ,but only in 4x4 mode.Has not ever gotten worse in years of driving .the cab and bed has no rust thru it anywhere,no bondo or repairs ever,the bed seams usually rust thru on all these trucks,this one hasent done it yet.small amounts of surface rust exsists,but very minor.if these spots were prepped correctly and the truck got a real paint job it would be really nice,its not bad now.tachometer has always stuck till cab temp comes up,summer it works normal and reads acurately.defrost lever is stuck,heater works good and where its stuck defogs the windshield now(it has been freezing here in Co.)tires are older but will run the truck anywhere now,spare is ok with all 5 rims being the sr5 chrome wheels,sr5 package includes:reset odometer,wiper delay,oil pressure,volt.tach,temp,guages,bucket seats,plastic center console is out of truck and is rough(it still may be in my shed)no radio,plastic radio plate cut for radio,would be easy to replace,metal around dash hole is undamaged.smittybuilt rear bumper/reciever hitch is missing some of the end caps.chrome header has larger than stock diameter tubing with a quiet muffler and no leaks(mig welded@ seams)matching shocks and 3 1/2 lift spring all around,no sagging springs as the stock ones do.5speed works quiet and smooth in all gears,transfer case shifts and operates perfect.22r has new timing gears and chain(double row)water pump,valve adjust,plugsetc.(less than15000miles ago)truck runs and drives smooth,with a ton off power,no drips smoking or oil consumption.interior light doesnt work,rearview mirror loose,seats could use covers,no floor covering in truck,the original tar paper still stuck everywhere in the floorboards.weber carb has always worked flawlessly at any alltitude,and kicks down when warmed up.K&N air filter.(Would recommend stock or foam type filter for dusty or heavy off roading as all K&N's can let fine dust right thru them,even new ones)interior tailgate & gas door are still original paint.front marker lights gone.rear marker lights have bulb sockets gone.Nothing leaks except the front axle seals like most of these trucks do(when u install the new axles would be the time to put in the new seals)new windshield rubber is on the truck now(windshield has a couple of chips but is not cracked across anywhere)please ask questions,dont bid unless you are serious,delivery possible with agreed upon terms within a reasonable distance with paid agreed upon fee.Truck goes nowhere til pay pal clears to my account. Youtube video of truck;search "antons 1982 toyota for sale on e bay 2014" to see the truck as it is now.Snug-cap brand topper that is nice and model specific for this truck comes with it.(no key for cap)Truck has tilt wheel option(bottom of the plastic column cover is cracked)needs a bulb in the voltmeter guage. Just put new universal joints on the rear drive-shaft that has grease fittings less than 2000miles ago.horn is on the truck,put wires to it and it works but not from the three little switches on the steering wheel,no cap in the middle of the steering wheel.interior light cover missing.chrome front brush guard not on the truck comes with the truck.(chrome was peeling off)(970 403 9529)south Co.vehicle is for sale locally and reserve the right to end sale at any time.
