Up for auction is 1999 Jaguar VandenPlas. Everything works on the car, and the car has no warnings or check engine lights active. The engine and transmission were both changed about two years ago with ones which had around 70k miles on them - so now they have seen around 80k-85k miles.The tires are realtively new and have less than 10k miles on them. The car has a current inspection sticker which is good until January 2014. The car could use some new spark plugs. The interior is fine, but the driver seat is a little worn. The heat and A/C work great. All the power windows and heated seats work as well. The front drivers side wheel bearing shakes a little when the car goes around 60-70 MPH. The hood center and trunk hood center had some clear coat cracking. I sprayed some paint and some clearcoat over those areas. Someone could probably do a better job thanI did. The car will NOT pass a mass inspection because of some rust connecting the floor pans to the rocker frame. It is a common problem with these cars, and the rust is localized in these areas. Should be an easy repair with some of L steel and some time. Please do not bid if you are not serious about gettting the car, and please local New England buyers only
