I am the second owner of the 1997 Mark VIII and priciple driver for the past ten years, I have a clear title dated from 2003. I knew the first owner. Well taken care of Headlights were updated from HID to Lincoln replacement headlight housings ($1200) that use standard halogen bulbs. The paint has some scratches and scuffs that you would expect to see on a 16 year old car. The ash tray door will not stay down, cup holders in perfect condition. There is a small dent near the drivers door that appeared when I came out of a store in Birmingham Al. The top has some discoloration from age, the top was replaced by me a few years ago by at a local shop. The air shocks have been replaced with coil springs. Upper and lower control arms have been replaced. The sound system is all factory as are the speakers. The original stereo was a cassette and I changed it with a factory single cd player. Never had the cd player in the trunk. Carpeting has some staining. Blend door actuator was replaced about two years ago and the climate control works as it should. Gas gauge not accurate.
