This is my 80 tr7 drop top. I purchased this car last spring after it had been stored since 1989 in a garage becuae it needed a top! When I purchased the car the owner had started to get it road ready again and since then I finished it and had a ball driving it around. The car has all new brakes, calipers, hoses, master cylinder, rotor's, wheelbearings and tires. I also replaced the front struts and springs and put in new rear shocks and aligned the front end. The fluids were all flushed and the fuel tank was dropped and cleaned out. The car also has a new top it came with the car just needed to be put on so I don't know how old it is but it was in a box when I got the car. It has a new a/c compressor I put in last fall just never recharged the system so it will need freon. It also has a new tune up and a set of belts and radiator hoses. I had a paint job done it looks good and has a nice shine to it I also put on new decals after the paint. The radio is missing I just never bothered to put one in. The car is fun to drive and is very good on fuel. I added some pictures so you can see the underside of the car. The car is very solid and original. I don't like to use the term "rust free" but there really isn't and rust or holes in this car. I have had a lot of mg's and triumph's and this is one of the most solid one's I have seen. The car looks to be wearing all the original body panels also but I do not know the entire history since I am the third own I only spoke with the second owner's family members since he was no longer here. The second owner had it from 1986 until I purchased it in 2013 it was parked in a garage since 1989 under a cover.
