Vehicle Detail

!!!! NO RESERVE !!! HIGHEST BIDDER WINS !!! You're looking at a 1963 Volvo P1800. I don't know very much about these cars, so if you have questions or need more specific pictures, please ask. I've been told this is an early car made by Jensen. I do not know for sure, so please do your research. It is a California car with the original black license plates to the car. When I found the car, it was in a field. It had four flat tires and was very dirty. I brought it home, spent three days cleaning it and put four used tires on it. This is a project car for sure. The motor is free, it rotates, it's not locked up. The car has been sitting since 1985 so it will need full restoration. Three wheels are dated 1962 and the fourth wheel is 1/2 an inch wider and says 58. The wheels have been bead blasted on the fronts only and painted silver. Missing all four hubcaps and one trim ring. The motor compartment and underside have been pressure washed. At some point someone painted the side trim flat black. On the inside someone spent some time with wood paneling (way too much time) back in the '70s. The hood is junk. It's rusty on the top and underneath where it swings. The floors behind the seats are nice. The front floors are scaly. Both doors have rust (bubbling). There are other areas of rust on the car as shown in the pictures. The battery box is good, no rust holes, solid, with only surface rust. It has a very, very nice egg shape grill and nice chrome grill surround. All the glass is good. The windows roll up and down. At one time someone sprayed foam insulation in the trunk area and it rusted from doing that. The bumpers are straight/solid and are re-chromeable, not soft or rusted out. It has nice gauges. The aluminum trim that goes on the dash can hopefully be straightened. It is a little mangled. I have a bunch of parts that came with the car that are included in the auction. The car does not look like it has ever been hit in the front or rear. I can't see any indications of it. The aluminum tag reads as follows: P18395 VA (P18395 is also stamped near the battery box) 4346 69 301 To sum it up, I hate seeing cars being parted out. I know it needs a lot of work, but they don't make these any more and I think it would be worth the work to get it back on the road. The price is right!!!! If you need more information (a walk around description) or more specific pictures, you can email me or call me, Mike, at (760) 519-3478. If you are an overseas buyer, I have a truck and trailer and can transport the car to a shipper in Long Beach for $300. If you are in the US and need a transporter, a reliable one I have done business with is W.E. Trucking (623) 680-2601 or (623) 412-1214. This vehicle is being sold as is with no implied warranty. If I have not had contact from the winning bidder within three days of the end of the auction, I will assume you are a non-paying bidder and will proceed through the ebay steps accordingly. Payment is to be paid in full within 7 business days of the end of the auction and pickup within 14 days of the end of the auction unless other arrangements are agreed upon. On Dec-19-13 at 08:31:35 PST, seller added the following information: I have been told by some Ebayers that the chassis number on the car indicates it is a 1962, but the title says 1963. Thank you. On Dec-19-13 at 09:07:22 PST, seller added the following information: If you need to ship the car overseas, a reputable shipping company I have done business with is California Shipping (714) 590-1999.On Dec-23-13 at 13:06:28 PST, seller added the following information: If you have a feedback score of less than 10 and bid on the car, please contact me so that I can confirm that you are a legitimate bidder. Thank you.
