Up for sale from Advanced Cycle Salvage: 1983 VT500 project bike with 21030 miles. This motorcycle was purchased through IAAI and as such has a salvage title due to minor damage to the rear fender/tailight and right shock. Damage has been repaired.Here is a video of it starting (on its own weak battery) and going through a basic safety demonstration: Features:Starts, runs, and idles properly.New turn signal stems.New mirrors.Tires have very good tread.Seat is in great condition.Bike has been test ridden and shifts flawlessly.Lights and turn signals tested; functional.What it needs:Battery is weak and unreliable. We have to jump start it unless the bike has been freshly ridden.Needs a tachometer cable.Has a flat spot at mid throttle. Possibly needs tune up or just fresh fuel (unknown time sitting).Also, the fuel tank has a dent.This bike would make a nice starter bike and little TLC during the winter months should have it perfect for next season.
