Up for auction we have a 2000 Chevrolet AWD Astro van. I was in the Seattle area visiting children and grandchildren and attended an auction that I have enjoyed over the years. I was shopping for something to get me back to Mesa, AZ safely. I'm 67 years old, but I would still take a road trip over flying any day. I have had many Astro vans over the years (and had routes where I drove 400+ miles a day),and know what a good product they are. My oldest daughter who lives in the Seattle area was ready for sun shine, warm weather and a road trip through Vegas so she shared some of the driving on the trip back to Mesa. That's the why I own the van, and why its for sale now. It belonged to Century Link/Quest and whatever they were called before that. just had its PM on 8-29-13 at 110,700 miles (sticker is on the windshield). That work out to under 8,500 miles per year. The van runs quiet and smooth, no smoke, transmission shifts just like its new, steering is tight. A/C is nice and cold. Heat works too. Cab of the van is dark blue, seats are nice, no tears, door panels are really nice, no tears or cracks. Glove box latch works. Black rubber mat is in decent shape. Windshield has a chip, but no cracks. Headliner is original. No power windows or locks. All door latches work and all doors lock. All the lights work inside and out. Brakes work good. Has a nice black rubber mat in the cargo area. Has a ladder rack with a caution light that works on the roof. Has a spare and a jack. Has a set of Toyo A/T Open Country tires P215-75-15. AM/FM radio works. Mirrors are all good. All gauges work. Bumpers are nice, no holes or dents. Still has door stops on rear doors so they don't open too far and get dented. Paint is still shiney, but has scratches, dings and is dented behind rear wheelwell on drivers side. Body shop 1 mile from me will straighten the dent and paint behind the wheel well for $200. Van looks good, and runs great for its age. I know of nothing that needs fixed mechanically. I can pick you up at Sky Harbor Airport, or at Mesa Gateway if you want to fly in and drive the van home.
