Original owner bought new. Rodeo was excellently maintained, still has good brakes, engine, interior, dual-mode shocks replaced at 208,000 miles, all scheduled maint kept and exceeded min requirements. I routinely replaced fuel filter, air filter, flushed coolant, diff fluid, Auto trans flushed every 25,000 miles, Timing belt done every 75,000 miles, Spark plugs every 30,000 the starter replaced last year with OEM one, The A/T tires have less than 5000 miles on them (Hankook Dynapro A/T 255/70R16). Recent maint done was coolant flush, serpentine belt and trans flush at local Isuzu dealer. It's fully loaded with Leather, Sunroof, even wood. This vehicle has been all over the USA. It never broke down routinely driven to Texas from Ohio, VA, MI, FL. Great in the snow. Unfortunately on 15 Nov 2013 while driving to work I "suspect" the alternator went out because everything lit up check engine, tachs went out, radio stop working all tell-tell signs of a old alternator (It was due for replacement) "my" belief is this cause transmission to go in limp mode. Isuzu's require a certain voltage to run the transmission (not a Isuzu tech but this is my forth Isuzu) When in Limp-Mode wife didn't know what limp mode was and kept driving at speed till transmission overheated. This vehicle was a reliable daily driver until transmission failed on this driver error. It is "not" drivable in my opinion because the transmission fluid was burnt when it was last driven I drained the fluid it was black. it currently has no transmission fluid in it. I am assuming the tranny is done. The engine seem fine. The oil level was good and clear and it was ran again on 20 Nov and was smooth and fine. Again, I am not a tech but the lights and everything on the dash cleared and went away once I charged the battery so I think it was a alternator failure. You may have to charge battery once you get it. Oil Change every 3000 milesValvoline Synthetic nothing else was used always with OEM oil filter. Maint documented with most receipts. Either done by myself or dealer. Washed weekly, waxed every three months. Eclipse Navigation with Eclipse speakers be advise the aftermarket Amps have been removed so you will likely need to reinstall a amp and the 50 amp fuse (under the hood) to use the audio all wiring was left completely intact and taped up. The Bull bars, steps, spoilers are OEM Isuzu believe it or not the bike racks were bought from the dealer as well. Everything you see will go no games just not going to put money into repairing it since wife has newer vehicle and we are military transferring this summer and its just easier to let It go. I am merely trying to get the money I put into the new tires. $900 This would make a nice project or daily driver with a new alternator and transmission. No rust issues. This is a as is sale I am not a dealer so please understand what your purchasing. My official stance is I do not know what cause the vehicle to go into limp-mode and I do not know what must be done to repair the vehicle. You arrange and pay for shipping or pick-up. I have not taken it to the dealer to confirm the transmission damage so it could be a steal but buyer should fully assume transmission is damaged. Isuzu Rodeo's can be capable off-road vehicles, or this could be a good daily driver if one is willing to make necessary repairs. If your willing to make repairs would be a very good buy. Due to the amount of scams out there I will not discuss shipping arrangements until a deposit is made but I will answer any question I can about the car just ask. Again please understand this is no scam I have been as honest as possible, The vehicle was and is a good vehicle if you make the repairs. Please do not commit to a buy now if you do not intend pay for the vehicle absolutely no games its just not in your or my interest.
