I am relisting my bike with a buy now price of $12,000.00 making this one of the best deals around for a K1200LT with this many miles! Check Craigslist (Searchtempest) and Cycletrader! I am the second owner and I look forward to you being the third happy owner! I bought it when it had about 3000 miles on it in March of 2010. It has been fun owning and riding but the time has come to try something different. The bike is stock other than it comes with a lower tinted wind screen. I am 5’ 9” and this one allows me to see over the wind screen when it is in the lowest position while still providing great protection in the up position. It also comes with a Zumo 550 GPS that is wired into the bike. I have a lifetime map subscription that I will include. I put a new premium battery in it in June 2012. I figure, if you are looking for one of these bikes you know what you are looking at and everything works as designed without any issues! This year bike came from the factory with pretty much everything you could ever want on a bike including the electric/hydraulic center stand which you won't find on the older versions! Around 12,000 miles my mechanic went over the bike checking the valves (I have the printout showing that two were out of spec and replaced.), changing out brake fluid and gave it a clean bill of health classifying it as in EXCELLENT condition! When I got it back I changed out the transmission and differential fluids with fully synthetic gear oil. It is due for an oil/filter change at 15,000 miles and I will have that done prior to you picking it up! So you will be good to go! It has been my daily driver and averages 48+ MPG! I am 62 and looking to get back into a car as my daily driver so I would consider a trade for a low mileage, loaded Chevy HHR. Your trade would have to have a leather interior and it would have to book out for about the same value as my bike which NADA shows average retail at $14,295.00. I will consider what you have to offer and I will consider paying the difference if I like what you have and it books out higher than mine! The bike is located in Huntsville, Alabama and I am about a 1/2 hour from the Huntsville airport.
