Thank you for looking at our auction. ATV: This is a 2009 Honda 300X. The Honda 300X is a fully manual 2WD sport quad that's great for anyone from a beginner to an experienced ATV enthusiast. They have plenty of power for anyone but are mild enough for a less experienced rider. The best part about a 300X is that even though it is a sport ATV is still has electric start and reverse. The engine is a 4-valve, 282cc 4-stroke. The liquid-cooled, single overhead cam features four valves and power is transferred to a 5-speed manual clutch transmission which also has reverse. The suspension is an independent Double A-Arm in the front, and has a swingarm in the rear. Of course it does come with a clean title. Condition: This machine is in excellent condition. It doesn't have any odometer or hour meter, so its hard to judge how many miles or hours are on this machine. Our best guess would put it around 100 miles. It is very clean and has been obviously well taken care of. It is difficult to find a pre-owned sport ATV in this kind of shape. The engine is perfect and fires immediately as soon as you hit the button. It doesn't smoke, leak or make any funny noises. This is a fully manual sport quad. It has a clutch lever that has to be pulled in when shifting gears, and you shift gears with a foot lever. The chassis and suspension are in perfect shape with nothing damaged, bent, or broken. The engine and transmission are excellent with no misses, noises, leaks, or smoke. The brakes all function perfectly and the suspension is nice and tight with no play in the wheel bearings, tie-rod ends, etc. The plastics are in great shape with one very small visual blemish. The rear fender has a scuff on the very outer edge where someones boot probably scuffed it just a little bit. We have taken a picture of this area, and it is provided below. Shipping: We do not provide shipping, but many of our customers have had great luck lately with www.uship.com You can post your shipping requests there and let shippers bid on them. I will be happy to work with your shipper within reason to make it go smoothly for you. Details: Overall this is a very nice ATV that will make someone very happy. As for transaction details, We are MLS Powersports, located in Georgetown, Kentucky (40324). We are right off Interstate 75, 15 miles North of Lexington, KY and 75 miles South of Cincinnati, OH. Our preference is that you pick this machine up with cash in person, but we will also accept a certified check, or bank to bank wire transfer. It MUST be paid for (not necessarily picked up) within 7 days of the auctions close. We are willing to ship it but you must make the arrangements. If you pick this ATV up in person, we are required by law to charge you 6% Kentucky sales tax. We will provide the winner with a KY Certificate of Sales tax paid. When you title this ATV in your home state they WILL credit the 6% back to you and you will only have to pay the difference (if there is any) to your local sales tax.(Except in West Virginia) We do this all the time, do not worry, you will not have to pay sales tax twice. If you have it delivered to you, anywhere outside of Kentucky, you do not have to pay Kentucky sales tax but may still have to pay sales tax in your home state. The only other exception to this sales tax rule is a valid state exemption for farm/agricultural use. We don't need a deposit but if we ship, it must be paid in full first. This machine comes with a clean title that is ready to transfer. It will also come with a bill of sale and proof of being lien free. You are welcome to inspect it as long and well as you like before finalizing the deal, but it is used and sells as-is. Canadian Bidders: We sell many ATV's to Canada because it saves you a lot of money. We know the paperwork requirements and what it takes to get it done. However, it is very expensive to have an ATV shipped from door to door due to customs broker fees. If you pick it up yourself or have it shipped to a border town and do your own border crossing you will save thousands vs buying in Canada. We also have a shipper we can direct you to who has many warehouses along the border where it can be shipped to and stored until you pick it up.
