1956 GMC panel van truck, vehicle has a" rebuilt" title, also has a transplanted "mopar" 383 with 4 speed manual trans. If you made it past that,this is a great resto project. this is a 1 ton 2 wheel drive panel truck. has new door rubbers (all 4 doors) new door strikers and latches (all doors) new door windows with chrome trim new wing windows new window regulators new door handles new right side king pin (left side still solid) new tail light lens, new starter and edelbrock 4 bbl carb new brakes and wheel cylinders (all 4 wheels) main fuel tank removed because of rust,running off the smaller aux tank, have new sending unit but no tank (yet) some filler and cracks in it,no major dents,body painted flat black.no rust in door steps chrome grill is very good cond. two small spots flaking off. gauges in dash work, oil pressure(50 lbs at idle) water temp,oil temp,amp gauge, speedo does work but slightly off. wipers work,heater fan works (heater core not hooked up(just needs hoses) drives like a 56 1 ton, runs very well (dual exhaust) could use tie rod ends and tires(tires on it have been sitting 11 years) has homemade benches in back with lids for storage and padding for seats don't know much about engine, does run very well, shifts great.doesnt make any noises (throw out bearing squels at times) 4 speed is close ratio This panel is far from perfect, but far from junk, perfect resto rig for your business delivery van or what have you. it is a eye catcher, any questions please ask; thanks for looking
