This 2003 Subaru Forester has 118,000 miles on it. Vehicle is in great shape and mechanically flawless at this juncture. I worked for Subaru for eight and a half years as a master technician and now supplement my income by buying Subaru's that need work and replacing whatever needs to be replaced. I sell cars that I my self have driven and would drive. Clean, safe, and reliable cars are what I sell. In the last two weeks I removed the engine and completely disassembled it. I sent the cylinder heads and flywheel to Controlled performance (a machine shop) and had the heads and flywheel resurfaced. Cylinder heads were also pressure tested. I then reassembled the engine replacing head gaskets, valve cover gaskets, intake gaskets, exhaust manifold gaskets, resealed oil pump, replaced front and rear main seals, cam seals, upper and lower timing cover seals, thermostat and gasket, water pump and gasket, timing belt, timing belt tensioner, timing belt carrier pulleys and bearings, exhaust nuts bolts and springs, complete new clutch with throw out bearing and pilot bearing, spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter, pcv valve, new tires, new windshield wiper blades, and replaced all fluids in engine and front and rear differentials.
