Up for auction – 1968 Pontiac GTO- “Project Car” Needs full restoration..This is a #’s matching car, body, frame, drivetrain, interior all original….This car has a rusty roof where the vinyl top was..The rest of the car has a little rust in the usual spots, not to bad at all, good bumpers, I have all interior parts, and good black seats…I have a 69’ body shell(Gray one in pic) that goes with this car. It has a good roof, and quarters, frame looks solid…My plan was to use the 69’ roof to repair the 68’..It has the YS 400 engine, turbo 400 trans, 3:23 rearend…Options include: A/C (don’t have all the parts), Tilt steering column, Soft Ray tinted glass, rally gauges, His/Her Dual gate shifter, hide-away headlites, rally II rims…I’ve owned this car since 1978….Data tags & casting #'s indicate Sept./Oct. 1967 ( its an early model 68' )...I have all the pieces for this car except for the radiator & gas tank..
