2008 Smart ForTwo Passion This one-owner Smart Car is in first-rate condition both mechanically and cosmetically. It has been well cared for and scrupulously maintained, and it has only 32000 miles on the odometer. It has the 2009 engine-control software, which is the only difference between the 2008 and 2009 models, so for all practical purposes, it is identical to a 2009. The car runs perfectly and needs nothing. It has never been in an accident or even tapped; the body panels are perfect. The tires and brakes are original and have plenty of life left in them. The interior is clean and in perfect condition. The car includes factory carpet mats for both the driver and passenger side and a retractable cover for the rear package compartment. It also has the optional tachometer and clock. This is an extremely nice car in all respects. This is a US-delivered Smart Car, not an import from Canada or Europe. You will have no trouble obtaining parts or maintenance work for it. The car's gas mileage is regularly in the 36-38 MPG range in mixed driving, and we have measured 50 MPG the couple times we've taken it any distance on the freeway. If you drive carefully and conservatively, as we do, you should experience the same fuel economy. The Smart is the perfect car for commuting, shopping, or just kicking around town. It's easy to park, as it fits easily into those parking spaces that are just a little too small for other cars. It can carry a surprising amount of stuff; there's room enough for a weekly grocery shopping trip or Costco run. It's a breeze in downtown city driving, as it will slip easily through obstructions that cause traffic jams for other cars. It's a fun car to drive and is admired wherever it goes. Payment terms and shipping US bidders only, please; international sales are too much trouble for a car like this. I'll need a deposit of $500 within three days and full payment within a week.
