Up for sale is a nice original 1978 Dodge Monaco Brougham. it has a 360 cid V8. It still has the 2 barrel lean burn carb. Car does run and drive. The car is super solid. Floors and trunk are solid. The motor is really quiet and runs good doesnt smoke. It starts every time you hit the key. I dont have it insured so Ive only driven it around my neighborhood. It rides very smooth and shifts great! It has a blue revolving light on the dash and sirens. it also has a cb radio. The paint job is not the best. it looks good from 20 ft away. Up close you can see its flaws. the door jams were not painted. The interior is all original. I would have it reupholstered in tan vinyl to keep it true to the dukes of hazzard. This is not a show car by any means and is not a new car but its definitely a head turner. It needs belts hoses etc before i would take off on a long ride. These cars are pretty rare and this is really good car to start with if you have been looking for one. This would be a great car for parades, car shows, dukesfest or just have fun like i have done with it! I have a clean GA title in my name Paint is not that great and interior is old windshield wiper motor does not work and radio is missing passenger side door has the wrong latch and wont open ( it would be easy to fab a rod to make it work) grill is cracked and front bumper is bent ( it was like this when i got it) has a slight miss in the motor (i believe it may be vacuum related from the 2 barrel lean burn and all the smog garbage) Needs a 4 bbl anyway! rear end has some noise On Oct-17-13 at 07:38:06 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE 10/17/13. i believe that the rear end noise may be the ring and pinion. I cant be 100% sure because im not a mechanic. I have contacted the bidders to let them know. Reserve has lowered due to this. Thanks
